Over recent years B&NES have asked for land owners to present plots for development known as Housing and Employment Land Availability Assessments (HELAA). Hinton Charterhouse has two of these, the large field by the village pond and land around the existing Brambles site (see here)

B&NES do not currently propose taking advantage of these for development, but you can have your say in the B&NES Local Plan consultation - this ENDS on the 16th April so if you wish to comment please visit the site here

The pond field site owners have commissioned an architect who has developed a proposal for the residents of the village to consider. NOTE: This is NOT a planning application, it is a proposal.
